JOB HIGHLIGHTS-Resident Care Coordinator

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the nursing team as a Resident Care Coordinator. You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent direct care.

Responsibilities-Resident Care Coordinator

  • Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care
  • Providing resident care when there are staffing needs, including on-call rotation
  • Completing the daily shift report and communicating changes or concerns to the appropriate staff
  • Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders
  • Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
  • Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation and family communication
  • Acting as the lead supervisor in the Director’s absence

Requirements

Requirements-Resident Care Coordinator

  • Required: current med tech and CPR certification as required by the state
  • Prefer: at least 1 year of experience as a med tech
  • Prefer: previous experience supervising direct care staff, preferably in a senior living environment
