Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) is seeking a compassionate, licensed Mental Health Counselor to support student wellbeing at our Orange Park, Florida campus.
In this role, you will provide short-term, solution-focused counseling and referral support to students navigating personal, emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges that may affect their success and wellbeing. What You’ll Do
✔ Provide short-term, solution-focused mental health counseling to students
✔ Support students experiencing emotional, behavioral, academic, or personal concerns
✔ Coordinate referrals and connect students with appropriate resources
✔ Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with institutional and professional standards
✔ Support prevention programming, mental health awareness, and student wellbeing initiatives
✔ Collaborate with campus partners to promote student success and persistence
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline
- Florida licensure as a mental health provider
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with college students
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with people with disabilities
