LPT-License Psychiatric Technician $50

BestNest Management is currently seeking Licensed Psychiatric Technicians (LPT) to work a 6 month contract at a Correctional Facility in Calipatria, CA; possibility of extension or offer of permanent employment.

Pay Rate: $50HR

Shifts Available:

• AM, PM & NOC

Responsibilities for LPT:

• Give a basic level of general behavioral and psychiatric nursing care
• Conduct daily clinical rounds and monitoring of patient /youth with signs and symptoms of mental illness
• Administer medications and treatments, including hypodermic injections, take and chart temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration, etc
• Development of treatment plans and objectives from assessments

Requirements for LPT:

• 1 year experience as an LPT
• LPT License in the State of California
• BLS From (American Heart Association)
