PRIDE Health is seeking a compassionate and recovery-oriented Peer Specialist to support individuals receiving behavioral health treatment within a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) setting.

???? Schedule:

• Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Hybrid Schedule: 3 Remote / 2 Onsite (subject to change)

• Flexibility required for 1 evening shift weekly and 1 Saturday per month

???? Pay Rate: $24–$24/hr

???? Duration: 13-Week Contract (Potential Extension)

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Build trust-based relationships through lived experience and peer support

✔ Assist participants with recovery planning and goal setting

✔ Provide advocacy, emotional support, and community resource connections

✔ Promote coping skills, wellness, and self-advocacy

✔ Collaborate with multidisciplinary behavioral health teams

✔ Support a recovery-oriented and culturally inclusive environment

Qualifications:

✅ OASAS or OMH Peer Certification (or Provisional Certification) required

✅ Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery

✅ Strong communication and boundary-setting skills

✅ Comfortable with hybrid work and local travel

✅ Familiarity with community resources and behavioral health services preferred
