Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in either a full-time or part-time outpatient clinic role.

This position will work collaboratively with our physicians and advanced practice providers to support patients dealing with chronic pain, rehabilitation needs, weight management challenges, and long-term medical conditions.

This is a unique opportunity to practice within an integrated medical environment and help address the behavioral, emotional, and psychosocial factors that directly impact patient outcomes and treatment success.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • No evenings
  • No weekends
  • No call responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

Chronic Pain & Spine Support

  • Provide behavioral health support and counseling for patients with chronic pain conditions
  • Assist patients with coping strategies, adjustment to chronic illness, and treatment adherence
  • Support patients undergoing interventional pain procedures and long-term treatment plans

Rehabilitation & Physiatry Support

  • Promote engagement with rehabilitation and home exercise programs
  • Address psychosocial barriers to recovery and functional improvement
  • Support patients adapting to injury, disability, or chronic physical limitations

Weight Management Support

  • Provide behavioral counseling related to lifestyle change and weight management goals
  • Assist patients with motivation, emotional eating concerns, and long-term treatment adherence

Care Coordination & Patient Advocacy

  • Identify barriers to care and patient compliance
  • Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to improve patient engagement and outcomes
  • Assist with community resources, support systems, and care coordination when appropriate

Qualifications Required:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Missouri
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team

Preferred:

  • Experience in outpatient healthcare, medical clinic, rehabilitation, behavioral health, or chronic illness settings
  • Interest in chronic pain, rehabilitation, or integrated healthcare models
  • Experience working with adult patient populations

About the Role
