Qualified Mental Health Professional

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in various settings, including in home and community environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the well-being of clients. To be adaptable to MCR and community stabilization practices to assist and aid those in need.

Duties

• Provide direct support and care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Implement behavioral therapy techniques and clinical counseling strategies to promote mental health.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans following ICD-9 coding standards.
• Address gender issues counseling as needed, fostering an inclusive environment for all clients.
• Engage with families to provide education and support regarding patient care strategies.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of patient care practices.
• Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.
• Experience in social work or direct support roles within healthcare settings.
• Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and clinical counseling approaches.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a patient-centered focus.
• Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals under care.
• Familiarity with developing individual service plans and the execution of them.
