Our Admissions Counselors recruit and screen potential students, ages 16-24, for enrollment in the Job Corps program. The Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), provides education, training and employment services to at-risk young adults.
MAIN DUTIES:
Conduct outreach activities with agencies, organizations, schools and individuals
Manage contacts and enter applicant tracking data
Interview candidates to obtain pertinent information
Maintain established monthly goals
Arrange and conduct tours and pre-enrollment orientations.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Full-time, primarily working weekdays during regular business hours
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications or related field OR Associate’s degree with two years related experience; one year experience working with youth, sales, marketing or counseling; and valid Minnesota driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
$43,888 per year plus bonus and benefits, including 12 paid holidays, paid vacation and sick time, 401(k) with match, and medical, dental and vision insurance
