Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Worker (LGSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to individuals and families in need. This role involves crisis intervention, addiction counseling, and behavioral health support, ensuring that clients receive the guidance and resources necessary for their well-being. The LGSW will work collaboratively with other professionals to foster a supportive environment that promotes mental health and community engagement.

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Provide crisis intervention and management services to individuals facing acute challenges.
Offer addiction counseling to clients struggling with substance use disorders.
Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavioral changes.
Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns in social work practices and client interactions.
Collaborate with community resources, including Section 8 housing assistance and child welfare services.
Engage in workforce development initiatives to help clients gain employment skills and opportunities.
Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution with a valid LGSW license.
Experience in crisis intervention, behavioral health, and addiction counseling preferred.
Strong understanding of child welfare policies and practices, including experience with childcare systems.
Proven ability to manage crises effectively while providing empathetic support to clients.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse populations.
Supervising experience is a plus, along with a commitment to mentoring emerging social workers.
