Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by licensed behavior analysts, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in therapy sessions
• Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform ongoing treatment adjustments and ensure fidelity to treatment protocols
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care skills to promote independence
• Use behavioral therapy techniques to manage behaviors and teach new skills across various settings, including home and community environments
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, progress notes, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency policies
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams to support comprehensive care plans
• Support the implementation of special education strategies within behavioral health frameworks to enhance learning outcomes

Experience

• Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred; experience with autism spectrum disorder is highly valued
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques essential for effective intervention delivery
• Familiarity with data collection methods and tools used to track behavioral progress and inform treatment decisions
• Experience assisting with medical documentation, understanding medical terminology, and maintaining confidential medical records is advantageous
• Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with families, team members, and clients in a respectful and empathetic manner
• Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to ethical standards related to patient care and behavioral health practices

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
