We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychological assessments, therapy, and crisis intervention services to diverse populations across inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth settings. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychological evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and psychological testing, to identify mental health conditions and treatment needs.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), group therapy, and trauma-informed care for patients with PTSD, addiction issues, autism spectrum disorders, disabilities, and other behavioral health concerns.
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and clinical best practices; monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Offer crisis intervention services to de-escalate urgent situations and coordinate with emergency responders when necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, medical staff, educators, and family members—to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical record standards.
- Participate in research initiatives or quality improvement projects to enhance clinical practices and patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Psychologist in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics in clinical or hospital settings.
- Strong background in child & family counseling, working with individuals with autism or disabilities, addiction counseling, and trauma-related care such as PTSD.
- Expertise in behavioral health modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention techniques.
- Experience with psychological testing, diagnostic evaluation, intake procedures, and patient assessment processes.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering remote mental health services effectively.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and medical records management.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging patients across diverse backgrounds and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
