Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing support and guidance to individuals, particularly in outpatient settings. Would prefer an individual who is familar with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and trauma specific modalities.
This role involves working with clients facing various challenges, including those with complex trauma and borderline personality disorder.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address client needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and client goals.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support clients effectively.
- Provide crisis intervention and management during critical situations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance counseling skills.
- Support families through child family counseling techniques.
Experience
- Proven experience in outpatient counseling or related fields is preferred. Both licensed and provisional counselors are encouraged to apply.
- Must hold a masters degree in social work or counseling or presently enrolled in a masters degree program.
- Knowledge of coding for patient care documentation is beneficial.
- Strong skills in crisis management and intervention techniques are essential.
- Ability to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
