Position Summary:
Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is an evidence-based and strengths-focused family therapy model designed for at-risk youth and their families. Services are short-term and have been scientifically proven to help youth and families overcome challenges such as behavioral issues, substance abuse, delinquency, and conduct disorder. You will work in the community as part of our Intensive In-Home Services team. You will deliver Evidence-Based Mental Health Services throughout Montgomery County to adolescents, youth and children, as well as their families.

- Immersed in the FFT model only, you will deliver Evidence-Based Mental Health Services to adolescents, youth and children, as well as their families,
- Managing a small caseload, you will travel daily to provide to, and on behalf of, youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.
- Regularly reviews and modifies treatment plans to assure consistent progress and success of plan goals.
- Must be willing to participate in training and consultation to obtain Functional Family Therapy (FFT) certification.
- Must be willing to comply with specific, daily documentation and assessment requirements
- Assists in family reunification and/or stabilization efforts with the youth’s primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youth’s case plan.
- Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required to assure safety and stability for youth served
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
- LSW or LPC required
- Experience in providing both individual and family therapy
- Experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.
- Daily travel required; willingness to meet clients on a flexible schedule during non-traditional hours if needed
- Must be comfortable providing services in the community and in client homes.
- You have good computer and technology skills
- Must be willing to accept other job duties as assigned
