Do you enjoy connecting with people and making a difference in your community? As an Adoption Counselor, you'll be the friendly face that helps visitors take the exciting step of adopting a new pet. Your top priority will be creating a welcoming, positive experience for everyone who comes to the shelter looking to adopt. Under the supervision of the Lifesaving Supervision, you'll guide potential adopters through the process-answering questions, offering advice, and helping them find the right match based on each animal's needs and the adopter's lifestyle. Your strong communication and customer service skills will help build trust and make each adoption a success. You'll also play a role in showcasing adoptable pets by writing engaging bios and taking attention-grabbing photos and videos to help them stand out. Compassion, patience, and a passion for helping both people and animals are key to thriving in this role. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must also have a valid South Carolina Driver's License.
