In this role, you will have the rewarding responsibility to:

• Offer attentive 1:1 or small group assistance under the direction of teaching staff
• Encourage student participation in classroom activities and help with daily routines and transitions
• Implement behavior intervention strategies and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support students’ mobility, provide supervision, and assist with personal care as needed
• Help foster a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for all learners

You’ll bring these qualifications to the table:

• Associate’s degree or higher
• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting if required
• Valid fingerprint background clearance or willingness to obtain before starting
• Experience in educational, behavioral health, or child care settings preferred
• Specific background supporting students with special needs, behavioral challenges, or autism is a plus
• Certification or familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT methods valued
• Reliability, patience, and strong teamwork skills
