Licensed Associate Counselor - Group Practice

Healing Life Counseling is growing and we are looking to hire three (3) Licensed Associate Counselors (not accepting LMSW at this location) to join our team at our growing Biltmore location.

Current in office time available:

Open for two (2) LAC clinicians: Two days in office midday - evening. One day in office morning - midday.

Open for one (1) LAC clinician: Three or more days in office morning - midday (depending on desired start and end time).

All three positions would allow for additional telehealth time as desired. We require that you have a minimum of 16 hours a week available on your schedule to see clients.

About Healing Life Counseling:

Healing Life Counseling, PLLC is a licensed private practice serving clients in Mesa, Scottsdale, Tucson and Phoenix. We provide outpatient individual and group counseling services for adolescents, and adults. We specialize in supporting people with a variety of psychological needs such as anxiety, depression, OCD, self-esteem, gender identity, suicide prevention, postpartum mental health, crisis, trauma, parent-child relationships, ADHD, and grief and loss. Our therapists use CBT, DBT, brief solution focused, EMDR and strengths-based approaches.

Requirements:

This is a contract (1099) position. It is best suited for a therapist with a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn and grow professionally, excellent relationship skills, ability to work some evenings to accommodate client schedules, availability for a minimum of 16 billable client hours a week plus additional time needed for case management, documentation and consultation, and strong typing and documentation skills.

Must be a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of Arizona, supervisor at this location cannot fully supervise LMSW. Ability and willingness to work with adolescents and adults.

Once hired, you will be required to incorporate as a sole member PLLC or LLC.

Once hired, you will be required to obtain your own private practice liability insurance ($130/year).

You must also provide your own smart phone and laptop.

We provide a very supportive, safe and collaborative environment. Weekly supervision towards independent licensure is provided by a LPC. You will have the ability to create your own schedule, receive individual and group supervision toward independent license with a LPC, and a very generous reimbursement rate of $55-$60 per billable client hour. Each therapist gets to decide which client populations and psychological needs they want to work with and specialize in. We train newly hired therapists in CBT, DBT, treatment planning and documentation. We have many resources for you to use in session with clients for rapport building, along with helping them meet their treatment goals such as books, workbooks, art supplies, therapeutic games etc. We also provide you with the marketing, billing, initial client scheduling, access to our EMR software, and furnished office space.

Stipend:

After working at Healing Life Counseling, and seeing minimum of 16 clients a week and in good standing, you will be given a $1,000 stipend toward either EMDR training for Trauma or ERP Training for OCD.
