Frog Point Therapy (FPT) is a private practice located in Foggy Bottom, Washington, DC that offers mental health treatment to adults aged 18+ learning to work through anxiety, depression, ADHD, interpersonal or family of origin relationships, trauma, and career issues. We treat individuals and couples and have several therapists on staff that are certified in EMDR. FPT’s philosophy of practice integrates western psychotherapeutic approaches, eastern contemplative practices, and modern research in neuroscience and adult development. We place an emphasis on professional development via individual and group supervision, post-graduate training programs, and staff retreats/seminars.

Frog Point Therapy is seeking a thoughtful, collaborative psychiatrist to join our growing multidisciplinary practice. We are building a care model where psychiatry and psychotherapy work closely together to support deeper, more sustainable growth for clients.

This role is ideal for a psychiatrist who values relationship-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the opportunity to help shape an integrative mental health practice with a strong clinical culture. We are open to psychiatrists who would also like to provide psychotherapy in addition to medication management and those who are especially interested the future of integrative psychiatry and emerging mental health treatments, including psychedelic-informed and ketamine-adjacent care as the field evolves.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
  • Active DC, MD and/or VA medical license (or ability to obtain one)
  • DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances
  • Eligibility for insurance credentialing
  • Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management
  • Specialty in or experience treating adults (specifically GAD, MDD, ADHD, and trauma-related diagnoses).
  • Comfort working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care
  • Able to see clients both face-to-face and virtually.
