Interested in making a genuine and meaningful difference in the lives of children on the Autism Spectrum?

L&J Behavior Consultants has an immediate opening for a BCBA in the East Tennessee area with a starting compensation rate of $80-85 per hour. (Rate can be negotiable based upon experience level. )

L&J Behavior Consultants has been in business for over 16 years with very little turnover. In fact, our therapists have been with us for at least 3 years. We believe that if you treat your therapists well, you CAN have that perfect work-life balance and prevent burnout. We are a small group of BCBA's looking for another BCBA to join us! We are passionate about what we do. The ideal candidate would share our passion for making a difference in the lives of children with Autism.

We only provide in-home supports with the potential to assist with school and community-related behaviors. Our supports are direct one-on-one services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Age range 2-18.

We offer individualized opportunities ranging from part-time and full time contract positions.

What makes us stand out:

We are a small company that is able to offer our therapists as much or as little support as they need.
Each BCBA is the sole provider and is responsible for making an individualized treatment plan for the specific client, with the ability to set up their own schedule. This allows for a high degree of flexibility and autonomy.

We believe that socially significant behaviors need to be addressed within the setting where they occur- whether this be in the home, community, or school setting.
There are no requirements to sign a non-compete contract.

You have the ability to have a small caseload, so you are able to focus on each client providing the hourly/treatment ratio the individual needs. A typical caseload consists of 3-5 clients. There is no supervision with this position, so the BCBA is responsible for all of the face-to-face services/plans. The average weekly billable hours are 20; you decide the number of hours you can provide, some of our BCBA's choose to bill 25-30 hours.

We strongly feel it is vital for each therapist to have the proper work-life balance.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct intake evaluations, including a child-centered treatment plan.
The data collection method is case and therapist-specific.
Provide parent training and support
Graph data, adjust strategies as needed to ensure progress, and provide routine progress summaries.

Ideal Candidate qualifications:

Must be Board Certified as a Behavior Analyst and have the ability to obtain licensure in the state of Tennessee.
You must be willing to work in/around the East Tennessee area and passionate about working with children. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to drive up to 20-25 miles per day if needed.

NOTE: This is not a remote position
