Job Title: Licensed Psychologist (Correctional Facility)

Location: Leavenworth, KS 66048

Schedule: Full-Time Permanent

Salary: $135,000 – $150,000 Annually

We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our mental health team at a correctional facility in Leavenworth, KS. This is a full-time permanent position providing essential psychological services in a secure environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and review of inmate records
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other clinical staff to coordinate patient care
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on evaluation and functional assessment
• Monitor and assess inmates in segregation or special housing areas
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention for inmates experiencing mental health challenges
• Document progress, treatment outcomes, and behavioral changes
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide consultative support

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university
• Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of Kansas
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, including at least one year in a comparable setting
• Must be at least 18 years of age
