Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) - Farmington Gallup - Remote 70%

Become a behavior support consultant for individuals on the developmental disability wavier program. This role is incredibily rewarding and well reimbursed. Set your own hours 10-40 hours per week. Many job requirements are able to be done online in zoom meetings. There is a requirement to see clients in person for home visits or out in the community. Much of your time is billable. You are the master of your time and schedule. Weekly supervision hours for your licensure is provided.

Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families and support staff.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists; families; and direct support professionals to develop and implement individualized plans
-Provide services within the framework of Positive Behavioral Supports emphasizing the acquisition and maintenance of positive skills.

-Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, gather data to monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to support plans
- Provide training and guidance to caregivers and support staff on implementing strategies and techniques
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of developmental disabilities

Requirements:
- Master’s degree and a current license to practice as an LMSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPAT, LMFT, or LMHC
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is great but not required.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and strategies helpful and easily learned in the field.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to assess individuals, write reports form a template and excercise informed decision-making
- Compassionate and person-centered approach when working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team

Pay: $74.49 - $80.81 per hour to start, depending on experience.
