School Psychologist (2026-27 School Year)

The Rapid City Area School (RCAS) District is seeking a truly extraordinary Psychologist to join our outstanding system of faculty and staff for the 2026-27 School Year. Successful candidates for this position will display technical excellence in providing medical and psychological care to our students. This position will be responsible for providing a full range of school psychological services to children ages 0-21, including screening and assessment, consulting on educational programs, crisis counseling, designing remedial educational programs, individual and group counseling with school staff, parents, and outside agencies as appropriate. Within this role, the staff member will also function as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to determine the student's eligibility for special services, appropriate programming, and on-going progress. Implement all procedures to meet compliance standards. A goal of the Rapid City Area Schools is to create a culture of inquiry where professional learning is expected, sought after, and is an ongoing part of teaching and learning.
