Residential Counselor in Training (Full Time) POSITION SUMMARYThis is entry-level clinical position is intended for applicants that have experience in the behavioral health/recovery field, and are working towards licensure. This position provides individual and group services and clinical documentation according to state and federal requirements.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of a high school diploma.A minimum of two years’ experience in the human service setting and an understanding of the existing related social service network and experience with referral techniques with these agencies.Must actively work towards LCDP licensure; achieving PADC or LCDP within 1 year of hire.PRIMARY FUNCTIONSProvide direct services to assigned clients on a daily basis.       Provide direct services to identified populations which include: orientation, report/record keeping, counseling, crisis intervention, case management, consultation, referral, treatment planning, and client education.         Complete and maintain appropriate reports and paperwork in conformance with state licensing regulations and agency policies.         Attend a minimum of weekly clinical supervision and in-service trainings as required.         Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards for substance abuse counseling, including HIPAA and 42 CFR part 2.         Maintain all records in accordance with State, Federal and Agency requirements.         As necessary, will provide and/or coordinate services for clients in a fashion that is consistent with the utilization of the 12 core functions of a substance abuse professional.     Facilitate group treatment activities as assigned.         Transition identified clients into appropriate after care services.         Act as a liaison between other community resources and CCA.SECONDARY FUNCTIONSProvide program coverage as neededOther duties as assigned for which you are qualified.BenefitsCommunity Care Alliance offers competitive salaries based on experience, skills and performance, a comprehensive benefits package, and great quality of work/life.Generous vacation, sick time and holidays.Comprehensive medical and dental coverage as well as voluntary vision and AFLAC supplemental coverage.403b with matching after 6 months of employment.Flexible Spending (FSA) and Dependent Care (DCA) accounts.Agency-paid group life insurance; long-term disability.Tuition reimbursement and licensure/certification bonuses.Employee referral program as well as bilingual skills premium.On-site or nearby parking available at most buildings; mileage reimbursement for client and business related use of your personal vehicle.To apply for this opening please visit our website www.communitycareri.org and select "Careers" and then "Current Openings" to fill out an application and upload your cover letter and resume.
