Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Therapist

Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive behavioral health services to diverse populations. Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake interviews to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy.
• Implement specialized interventions for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, addiction issues, and geriatrics including Alzheimer’s care.
• Coordinate care through case management activities while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for accurate data collection, progress notes, and medical records management.
• Engage in crisis management and crisis intervention to ensure immediate safety and stabilization for clients experiencing mental health emergencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital or community settings to support patient care plans and conduct diagnostic coding using ICD-10/ICD-9 classifications.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives related to behavioral health outcomes and contribute to data collection efforts for ongoing studies.
• Provide training or supervision in specialized areas such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), psychopharmacology insights, or special education strategies when applicable.

Skills

• Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and crisis intervention strategies.
• Strong background working with children, adolescents, adults with disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or developmental delays; experience in pediatrics is highly valued.
• Familiarity with home & community care models along with hospital-based mental health services.
• Experience working with individuals diagnosed with PTSD or substance use disorders; knowledge of addiction counseling methods is preferred.
• Ability to navigate EMR systems efficiently while ensuring accurate medical documentation aligned with HIPAA standards.
• Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9) for diagnostic evaluation purposes; experience with CPT coding is a plus.
• Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication tailored to diverse populations including geriatrics or special education needs.
• Capable of managing complex cases involving crisis management or mental health emergencies within fast-paced clinical environments.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and social work practices; experience in medical records management is advantageous.
