Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with skill development in activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other self-care tasks
- Lead in-clinic sessions that promote communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors
- Collect data using a HIPPA approved electronic data collection system and write daily session notes.
- Collaborate with the BCBA and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies and progress tracking
- Follow all safety protocols and ethical guidelines to ensure patient care quality and confidentiality at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with developmental disabilities is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and experience assisting with ADLs
- Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately
- Compassionate attitude with patience for working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with other behavioral health needs
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
