Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
• Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
• Assist clients with skill development in activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other self-care tasks
• Lead in-clinic sessions that promote communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors
• Collect data using a HIPPA approved electronic data collection system and write daily session notes.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies and progress tracking
• Follow all safety protocols and ethical guidelines to ensure patient care quality and confidentiality at all times

Requirements

• Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with developmental disabilities is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and experience assisting with ADLs
• Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately
• Compassionate attitude with patience for working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with other behavioral health needs
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
