We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment strategies.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence and self-care skills.
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors and manage challenging behaviors effectively.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, including care plans, progress notes, and behavioral data in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions across environments.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions on behavioral health, medical terminology, and behavior management strategies to enhance your professional growth.
Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Excellent skills in data collection, documentation, and maintaining detailed medical records.
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in developing independence in daily routines.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and privacy of client information.
- Effective teaching and communication skills to engage clients positively and foster learning.
