Qualification and Competencies
- Minimum High School Diploma with (5) years’ experience in a human service-related field. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
- Experience with mental health population or substance use disorder/treatment experience preferred
- Demonstrates organizational and communication skills which would enable effective interaction with agency staff, consumers/clients/families, and the community.
- Critical thinking and sound judgement skills are necessary.
General Description
Responsible for providing supportive counseling and independent living skills training to assigned residents and assisting the Program Supervisor in implementing agency policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports the Program Supervisor in overseeing daily operations and overall program management.
- Coordinates resident services, including admissions, service planning, weekly meetings, and treatment/discharge coordination.
- Develops, implements, and monitors person-centered goals and individual service plans with residents from diverse backgrounds.
- Provides direct support to residents, including activities of daily living, medication self-administration training, vocational/educational guidance, and socialization.
- Ensures timely and accurate documentation, chart maintenance, audits, reports, and compliance with agency policies.
- Manages staffing coverage, trains and supports staff, conducts house meetings and inspections, and ensures fire and safety procedures.
- Responds to crises and emergencies, manages resident finances and petty cash, provides transportation, and performs additional duties as assigned.
- Accepts and follows through on all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Schedule
- Generally Mondays-Fridays 9am-5pm
- Flexibility to cover shifts as needed
