Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Masters in Social Work, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide outpatient therapy services to individuals facing various mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote their overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in behavioral health and a strong understanding of medical coding, including ICD-10.

This is a contract position, therapists are paid 60% of the amount paid by clients and insurance/Medicaid/Medicare reimbursements. Therapists set their own schedules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Provide psychotherapy and behavioral therapy to clients experiencing conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations.
• Utilize appropriate coding (ICD-10) for documentation and billing purposes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or equivalent credential.
• Experience in outpatient settings preferred.
• Knowledge of behavioral health practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Familiarity with medical records management and coding systems ( ICD-10).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
