Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)/ Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)/ Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services, including psychotherapy, clinical assessments, and case management, to diverse populations across various settings. Your expertise will support individuals and families navigating complex emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake interviews to determine patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.
  • Deliver specialized care for children, adolescents, geriatrics.
  • Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including medical professionals, educators, case managers, and community agencies—to coordinate holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality and data security.
  • Engage in clinical research activities such as data collection and analysis to support program development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide specialized services such as addiction counseling, PTSD care, social work interventions, case management, and Christian counseling when appropriate.
  • Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical records management to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Conduct behavioral health screenings and diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based tools to inform treatment strategies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development related to psychopharmacology, working with people with autism or other disabilities, special education strategies, and geriatrics care.

Experience

  • Valid licensure as a Licensed Therapist in Georgia.
  • Proven experience providing psychotherapy across diverse populations with a focus on children, families, or older adults.
  • Experience delivering mental health services in hospital settings or community clinics preferred.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data collection is essential.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols is required.
  • Background in behavioral health research or clinical research activities is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, ICD coding systems (ICD-10), DSM-5-TR, CPT coding for billing purposes, and HIPAA compliance standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a client-centered approach.
