Responsibilities
This part-time role for a Therapist/Social Worker is hybrid, based in New York, NY, with some flexibility for remote work. The professional will provide individual weekly therapy, conduct mental health assessments, and develop personalized care plans to address client needs. Additional responsibilities include maintaining timely and accurate client records, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering education or resources to clients to support their progress.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in providing individual therapy
- Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and developing tailored care plans
- Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in case management, resource coordination, and maintaining confidentiality
- Certification in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (e.g., LMSW, LMHC)
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related discipline is required
- Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to work with diverse client populations
- Flexibility to work both in-person and remotely
Pay: $30.00 - $65.00 per hour
