Drug And Alcohol Counselor

CHRYSALIS RECOVERY CENTER LLC and CRC-IDCMP have been transforming lives in New Hampshire since 2009. Specializing in counseling and treatment, the center offers services in anger management, substance use disorders, DWI programs, mental health counseling, and co-occurring care. Programs also include domestic violence support, individual and group therapy, evaluations, and lab-based urine testing. The organization is dedicated to helping individuals navigate their recovery journey with a holistic approach to care.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Drug and Alcohol Counselor based in Concord, NH, with opportunities to work remotely for some responsibilities. The counselor will conduct substance use disorder assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and facilitate group and individual therapy sessions. Additional responsibilities include case management, relapse prevention planning, and collaborating with other professionals to address co-occurring mental health issues and ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Experience in Treatment Planning and designing personalized, actionable recovery goals
• Knowledge of Chemical Dependency and approaches to substance use treatment and support
• Proficiency in Relapse Prevention techniques and strategies
• Skills in Case Management and coordination of client services
• Understanding and application of Psychology principles to support client recovery
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or equivalent qualification preferred
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is a plus
