Position Overview

We are hiring Licensed and Certified Substance Abuse Counselors to provide evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment services in a gender specific substance use treatment/residential program. We provide services to pregnant and parenting and their children. The counselors are responsible for daily group and individual therapy.

Required Qualifications : Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor

Applicants must meet requirements to be considered:

• Masters Degree degree in Human Services or related field
• Licensed in Substance Use Counseling (LCAS, LCAS-A)
• Minimum one (1) year of experience providing substance use treatment services

Required Qualifications : Certified Substance Abuse Counselor

Applicants must meet requirements to be considered:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field
• Certification in Substance Use Counseling (CSAC, CADC)
• Minimum one (1) year of experience providing substance use treatment services

• Relapse prevention planning and SA use disease management: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• SA Counseling Cert (CSAC, CSAC-I, CADC, or CADC-I (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)

Location:

• Charlotte, NC 28227 (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Required)
