Clinical Counselor

The Hero Clinic is hiring an in-house, Missouri-licensed counselor to provide compassionate, evidence-based care for children, teens, and families. The ideal clinician has strong pediatric experience supporting anxiety, depression, executive functioning challenges, and trauma-based needs, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide individual and family counseling for pediatric clients

- Deliver trauma-informed care and skills-based support (including executive functioning)- Develop treatment plans and maintain timely documentation in accordance with Missouri licensure standards

- Coordinate care with internal clinical team members and communicate clearly with caregiversQualifications

- Active, independent Missouri clinical license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent)

- Pediatric counseling experience required

- Experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and supporting executive functioning

Schedule & Location

- On-site / in-house role (not remote)

- Scheduling can accommodate clinician preferences, with a strong preference for:

- Daytime + after-school hours

- Increased weekend availability
