Duties

- Verify patient insurance information and gather necessary medical history details to prepare for appointments.
- Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Manage patient records accurately, update medical charts, and handle documentation in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Provide clear explanations of treatment procedures, appointment instructions, and follow-up care to patients.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front office environment while adhering to infection control protocols specific to healthcare settings.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical office procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with office software applications and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to diverse patients.
- Experience supporting medical administrative functions, such as billing or insurance processing, is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical office operations is advantageous but not required.
