ATIBA YIS, LLC is a licensed behavioral health agency providing person-centered, trauma-informed care in the Richmond area. We offer Intensive In-Home Services (IIHS) and Mental Health Skill-Building Services (MHSS) in accordance with Virginia DMAS and DBHDS guidelines.

Position Summary

The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) provides direct, community-based mental health services to individuals with behavioral health needs. Services are delivered in homes and community settings and focus on skill-building, symptom reduction, and improving daily functioning.

Core Responsibilities

Deliver goal-oriented services based on the Individualized Service Plan (ISP)

Provide skill-building, behavioral support, and psychoeducation

Complete accurate, timely documentation (progress notes, service logs)

Participate in service planning and 90-day reviews

Collaborate with treatment teams, case managers, and providers

Support crisis prevention and follow proper reporting protocols

Maintain compliance with DMAS, DBHDS, and HIPAA standards

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of clinical experience OR Master’s degree in a related field

Registered QMHP with the Virginia Board of Counseling

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred

Experience with Medicaid services and EHR systems

Knowledge of trauma-informed care

CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
