  • Supervise and support caregiving staff, providing leadership, training, and ongoing development to maintain high standards of resident care.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to optimize resident health outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Manage daily operations within the residence or community setting, including staffing schedules, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor residents’ progress and adjust care strategies accordingly to enhance quality of life.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and maintain accurate documentation related to resident care activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or senior care environments; prior group home or retirement home experience is highly valued.
  • Strong background in nursing, social work, or related fields with knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, and long-term care practices.
  • Demonstrated supervisory and management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced settings.
  • Familiarity with developing and managing care plans, medication protocols, and operational procedures within home & community care settings.
  • Excellent organizational skills complemented by financial acumen for budgeting and resource management.
  • Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills to collaborate with residents’ families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Working knowledge of assisted living regulations, safety standards, and best practices in senior and home care environments.
