Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation.
- Provide medication reminders and routine skin care.
- Support residents with housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Accompany residents to medical appointments.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions.
- Assist with mobility aids and oxygen equipment.
- Collect routine specimens and obtain resident weights.
- Provide behavioral redirection and intervention.
- Adhere to Department of Health regulations and care plans.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- HHA certification.
- Experience in assisted living or memory care strongly preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to seniors with patience and empathy.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
Physical Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and kneeling.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry residents and equipment (up to 50 lbs frequently; up to 100 lbs occasionally).
- Manual dexterity for tasks such as typing, filing, and grasping.
- Exposure to environmental conditions, including dust, odors, chemicals, and fluctuating temperatures.

- Ability to analyze, evaluate, and respond to resident needs.
- Strong reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Visual acuity to observe resident conditions and monitor safety.
- Emotional resilience and the ability to manage behavioral interventions.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Manager (HHA) to support our residents with memory care needs. This role involves providing personal care, health-related services, and emotional support in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate is patient, observant, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
