About Inspire Home and Health

Inspire Home and Health provides person-centered supports to adults with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities through Pennsylvania ODP waivers. We focus on real outcomes, community integration, and consistent staffing — not just coverage.

We are growing quickly and looking to add a strong Behavioral Support Specialist to support our team and the individuals we serve.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Behavioral Support Specialist, ideally a BCBA, to support individuals with autism and/or intellectual disabilities in community and home settings.

This role focuses on developing and overseeing behavior support plans, training staff, and ensuring services are being delivered the right way, not just written on paper.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
  • Develop and maintain Behavior Support Plans (BSP)
  • Submit and revise plans through ODP/BSASP as needed
  • Train and coach direct support staff in real time
  • Ensure implementation of behavior strategies in the field
  • Monitor data collection and adjust plans based on outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings with families and Supports Coordinators
  • Provide hands-on guidance in community and home settings when needed

Qualifications

  • BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) strongly preferred
  • OR meets PA ODP Behavioral Support Specialist qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, education, ABA, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with IDD/autism
  • Experience completing FBAs and writing BSPs
  • Strong understanding of ODP and BSASP expectations
  • Ability to train and hold staff accountable
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone who is hands-on and willing to be in the field
  • Not just writing plans, but making sure they actually work
  • Comfortable giving direct feedback and coaching staff
  • Able to work independently and move quickly
  • Team player who wants to help build something

Compensation

  • Rate depends on your background and experience
  • BCBA candidates will be paid at a higher rate
  • 1099 contractor option available for those seeking flexibility
  • Flexible schedule and growth opportunity as we scale

Why Inspire

  • Strong staffing model (you’re not fixing constant call-outs)
  • Real collaboration with leadership
  • Opportunity to build and shape behavior services
  • Growing organization with a clear vision

Pay: $40.00 - $70.00 per hour

Application Question(s):

  • Do you currently hold a BCBA certification?
  • Do you meet PA ODP Behavioral Support Specialist qualifications (Master’s + experience with IDD/autism)?
  • How many years of experience do you have completing FBAs and writing Behavior Support Plans?
  • Do you have reliable transportation and are you willing to travel locally?
