Partners In Learning Child Development Center is expanding our clinical services and seeking a passionate and qualified RBT to join our team. You will provide classroom based ABA therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD) in an inclusive early learning environment.
Role Overview
As an RBT, you'll implement one-on-one behavioral intervention programs under supervision of a BCBA. You’ll bring established ABA treatment plans to life using evidence-based methods, while supporting both children and families.
Behavior Therapist Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with a BCBA supervisor to implement ABA-based teaching procedures.
- Deliver individualized and group-focused ABA sessions within classroom and center settings.
- Collect, record, and submit accurate progress data (frequency, duration, percentage) promptly (typically within 24 hours).
- Maintain professional documentation and client records, and report on progress and challenges to the supervising BCBA.
- Collaborate with childcare staff to ensure smooth transitions into classroom activities and carryover of strategies.
- Guaranteed 40-hour work week: When no client is present or a client session is canceled, the RBT will provide support to the child care classroom
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred.
- High School Diploma required.
- RBT Certification preferred or wiliness to complete certification.
- Minimum 1-year experience working 1:1 with children.
- 1-year ABA experience preferred, if no direct ABA experience, then 1-2 years working children, particularly those with ASD or related behavioral needs.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate goal-oriented professionalism and responsiveness to the needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
- Punctual arrival and preparation are essential for all therapy sessions.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
