- Conducts diagnostic interviews and psychological testing batteries; provides direct individual, family and group psychotherapy treatment.
- Evaluates and recommends action on petitions for confinement; provides clinical supervision of postdoctoral psychologists.
- Coordinates and schedules services to clients with other divisions; provides professional consultation to other mental health, public social service, and legal agencies regarding mental health problems, disposition, and treatment.
- Under medical direction, develops and implements new treatment plans; prepares reports and correspondence; prepares reports and correspondence.Knowledge of: Principles, techniques, devices, and methodology in applied clinical psychology; Sources, uses, and application of psychological tests; Characteristics of emotional and mental disorders and their treatment.
OR
Possession of an out-of-state license to practice as a clinical psychologist. Individuals who are hired in this option shall obtain their licensure to practice as a Clinical Psychologist issued by the Psychological Examining Committee of the Medical Board of California within three years from the date of hire.Possession of a valid California Driver's License.What's Next?This position is open to all applicants.Applications received prior to the closing date will be considered based on the information submitted.
