Position Overview:
The BCaBA provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services under the ongoing supervision and clinical direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role focuses on the implementation of treatment plans, support of behavior technicians, and coordination of care, in accordance with BACB guidelines and payer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs as developed and directed by the supervising BCBA
- Provide direct supervision to RBTs/behavior technicians, under BCBA oversight, to support treatment fidelity
- Assist the BCBA with program implementation, data review, and treatment adjustments (final clinical decisions made by BCBA)
- Collect, analyze, and maintain accurate data to support clinical decision-making
- Support caregiver training as directed by the BCBA
- Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA regarding client progress, barriers, and recommendations
- Ensure all documentation meets BACB, funding source (e.g., Medi-Cal, commercial insurance), and organizational requirements
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training under BCBA guidance
Qualifications:
- Active BCaBA certification in good standing with the BACB
- Bachelor’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or related field
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and data analysis skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within San Diego County
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with insurance-funded ABA services
- Familiarity with electronic data collection systems
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
