Clinical Supervisor - Part Time

Empowering Minds Resource Center is seeking a candidate to provide clinical oversight and feedback to LGPC Therapists and Interns to enhance individual, child, family, and group therapy, counseling, crisis intervention, and advocacy services to children, adults, and families. In this role, you will ensure the services provided by our Therapists and Interns are in keeping with high standards and quality and in full compliance with all relevant legal, ethical, licensing, contractual, and agency standards and expectations. Responsible for weekly and appropriate clinical, reflective, competency-based, and administrative supervision, training, and guidance for assigned providers to support their success in providing and documenting client care services and meeting or exceeding agency expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Manages quality and effectiveness of service delivery through weekly supervision and monitoring of documentation including assessments, plans of care, and progress notes.
  • Ensures timely documentation in accordance with all agency and contractual requirements.
  • Supports assigned staff to provide services that are clinically appropriate.
  • Ensures confidentiality and maintenance of client records in compliance with HIPAA, agency Policies and Procedures and licensure regulations.
  • Maintains knowledge of program standards and policies as developed by the agency, licensing, and other governing bodies.

Qualifications:

  • Current LCPC Supervisor License in the state of Maryland
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
