NPC offers referral and administrative support, with opportunity to build a full-time caseload. Contractors maintain autonomy over scheduling, caseload, and clinical practice and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits

New Paths Counseling, LLC is a small, privately owned mental health practice serving individuals and couples in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with a welcoming main office in beautiful downtown Haddonfield, NJ. We offer both virtual and in-person therapeutic options, providing high-quality, compassionate care to diverse communities.

Role Description:
We are seeking compassionate and professional LCSWs/ Psychotherapists to join our expanding private practice in Haddonfield, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who value flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful client relationships.

  • Flexible Caseload (Part-Time with opportunity to grow to Full-Time volume), Hybrid: Create a flexible work schedule that fits your lifestyle, with the option to provide services in-person, virtually, or both
  • Nurtured Clinician Approach: We aim to foster a balanced, supportive environment that supports professional fulfillment and personal well-being
  • Ideal For:
  • Clinicians seeking to add part-time hours to their current role
  • Clinicians looking to build and expand a private caseload
  • Clinical supervision is available for LSWs under a separate supervision agreement, in accordance with state requirements
  • Supportive Start: Receive referral and administrative support to build your initial caseload, with consultation available as needed
  • Free Office Space: Our comfortable, fully furnished Haddonfield suite is available for your in-person sessions

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field (required)
  • Active LCSW or LSW license in New Jersey (required); Pennsylvania license preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of direct, face-to-face clinical experience with individuals or families
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the NASW Code of Ethics
  • Experience and familiarity working with EMR systems and HIPAA compliance
  • Empathetic, reliable, and adaptable to the evolving needs of clients

Responsibilities:

  • Independently provide culturally responsive biopsychosocial assessments and psychotherapy services to individuals and/or couples
  • Utilize evidence-based and clinically appropriate treatment approaches consistent with your professional training and licensure
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical, legal, and payer requirements
  • Independently manage a caseload consistent with your professional goals and availability
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and community partners as clinically appropriate and at your discretion
  • Remain current with best practices, ethical standards, and continuing education requirements relevant to your scope of practice

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Existing credentialing with insurance panels (e.g., Blue Cross, Horizon BCBS NJ, United Healthcare, Aetna) is a plus, but not required
  • Prior experience in private practice, community systems, or interdisciplinary collaboration (e.g., medical, legal, or academic professionals)
  • Commitment to inclusive, culturally grounded clinical care and interest in community engagement
