About the Role
We are an established landscape service company seeking a skilled Field Service Coordinator to join our front office team that supports field crews, managers, and customers. This is a desk-based role best suited for someone who thrives in a small-office environment, enjoys focused computer work, and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.
Summary
The Field Service Coordinator is responsible for accurately processing, organizing, and verifying daily field operations data. This includes posting completed work, tracking labor and materials, building schedules and service routes, generating reports, and supporting billing and payroll processes.
This role requires someone who can balance speed with precision, quickly grasp operational workflows, and consistently produce accurate work with minimal supervision once trained.
Daily work is performed using BossLM (industry-specific software), QuickBooks Desktop, Excel, and Outlook.
Responsibilities
Operations & Data Management
- Post completed work for field crews daily, accurately tracking labor and materials
- Create and manage work tickets, crew schedules, and efficient service routes
- Summarize field tickets and communicate updates to managers
- Assisting with contracts and work order creation
Bookkeeping
- Generate purchase orders and enter receipts
- Process customer payments and collect on past due accounts
- Assist with payroll processing
- Perform weekly and monthly billing
Administrative
- Assist with customer calls, emails, and notifications
- Print paperwork for Division Leads

- Accurate with entering and processing data
- Prefers a structured, small-office environment
- Can maintain focus on repetitive data tasks
- Learn systems and workflows quickly
- Can handle occasional interruptions without losing momentum
- Take ownership of responsibilities and require minimal supervision once trained
- Flexible to assist on other tasks as needed
This position is best suited for someone who enjoys operational work and systems management. Individuals who need constant movement or frequent in-person interaction throughout the day may not find this role satisfying.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bookkeeping, administrative, or office coordination experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Outlook
- Experience with accounting or job management software (QuickBooks experience strongly preferred)
- Ability to learn industry-specific software quickly
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and accountability
Landscape or service-industry experience is a plus but not required.
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
