Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselor - 2nd shift

Psych Rehabilitation Counselor Essential Functions

Role models and implements psychosocial rehabilitation philosophy and principles while assisting individuals in their recovery inclusive of reestablishing roles in the community, developing support networks and increasing quality of life.

Provides services in a trauma-informed, resilience-oriented, equity-focused manner utilizing cultural sensitivity and person-centered planning.

Develops skill related goals in socialization, vocational, self-determination, ADL’s and disability management.

Evaluates and monitors the progress of the individuals.

Provides guidance, direction, support and monitoring for individuals during crises/emergencies and follows Agency procedures in providing assistance.

Intervenes in individual’s related problems and situations according to program procedures or supervisory direction.

Provides feedback and direction to staff relating to strengths and needs.

Develops, coordinates, and monitors housekeeping schedules with individuals receiving services and staff.

Facilitates menu planning group with individuals receiving services with emphasis on nutrition and developing grocery supply list.

Position Details: Full-time status, second shift 4pm-midnight.
All applicants must be available to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Must have knowledge and experience with crisis management and de-escalation.
Preferred knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care, including but not limited to Inclusion, increasing Resiliency, and system-based trauma.

All Team members must: be at least 18 years of age

High School Diploma.
Have no prohibited criminal offenses.
Possess a valid driver's license with no suspension or points within the past 3 years.
