LaRocco Counseling is hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor.

-Candidate must have a minimum of a 4-year bachelor’s degree in the Human Service field combined with a minimum of 2 years experience working directly with drug and alcohol clients.

In addition, the candidate must be able to obtain both child-line clearance and criminal background clearance to work in the drug and alcohol field.

LaRocco Counseling only considers candidates of high moral character that are dedicated to individuals that are suffering from addiction.

-This position is a full time position with:

NO WEEKEND WORK/MAJOR HOLIDAYS OFF/VERY COMPETITIVE PAY. If you do not meet the above-mentioned criteria, or are not passionate about helping people on their journey of recovery, please do not apply.

Responsibilities of the counselor are but not limited to:

-Conducting group and individual therapy

Development and incorporation of treatment plans

Treatment plan updates, case consults, intake, admission and assessment Communication with various resources in the community Knowledge and ability to incorporate evidence and abstinence-based treatment models
