JOB SUMMARY:

The Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides clinical oversight, behavioral assessment, and intervention services for children, adolescents, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) across educational and residential settings. The BCBA is responsible for developing and supervising individualized behavior support plans, conducting functional assessments, and training staff in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based behavioral services, while supporting professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive behavior analytic services to children and adolescents, specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Behavior Management techniques, and Treatment Planning, alongside excellent Communication and Interpersonal Communications skills. The BCBA will be expected to adhere to Ethical Standards And Conduct while developing and implementing effective Intervention Plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the function of challenging behaviors.
  • Develop and implement individualized Treatment Planning and behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles.
  • Provide direct supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff members.
  • Monitor client progress through Data Collection and analysis, making data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent implementation of intervention strategies.
  • Provide parent training and support to promote generalization of skills in the home and community settings.
  • Maintain client Confidentiality and adhere to all relevant ethical guidelines.
  • Utilize Behaviour Therapy techniques to address a range of behavioral challenges.
  • Demonstrate Leadership qualities and the ability to work effectively with a team.
  • Foster Social Skills development in clients through targeted interventions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
  • Thorough knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other Developmental Disabilities.
  • Working knowledge of Behavior Management techniques and Intervention Plans.
  • General knowledge of Data Collection and analysis methods.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Communications skills.
  • Ability to maintain Confidentiality and adhere to Ethical Standards And Conduct.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work with children and their families.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with Special Education needs.
  • Experience providing supervision to RBTs.
  • Experience with Treatment Planning for a variety of behavioral challenges.
  • Experience in a clinical setting.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field. Additional Desired Skills: Psychology, Teaching, Board Certified/Board Eligible

Pay: From $78,000.00 per year
