Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and functional behavior assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies
  • Design, implement, and oversee evidence-based behavioral therapy programs grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
  • Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency across environments and optimize outcomes
  • Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff on behavioral interventions and data collection methods
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations to safeguard confidentiality
  • Perform intake assessments for new clients, including reviewing medical records and conducting initial evaluations to determine appropriate services

Qualifications

  • Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligible for certification with relevant experience in behavioral therapy
  • Demonstrated experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), data collection techniques, and behavioral health practices
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical documentation standards including HIPAA compliance
  • Experience working within special education settings or behavioral health environments preferred
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and educational professionals
  • Ability to perform patient care activities including intake procedures, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing behavioral assessments
