Job Summary

Duties
- Respond promptly and effectively to crisis situations using crisis management techniques to de-escalate and support clients in distress
- Conduct behavioral health assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention plans
- Provide mental health counseling and motivational interviewing to encourage positive behavioral change
- Offer mentoring and social work support to help clients navigate complex emotional or social challenges
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately to document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients
- Assist clients with addiction counseling strategies and connect them with appropriate resources for ongoing recovery efforts
Experience
- Proven experience in crisis intervention and crisis management within behavioral health or social services settings
- Strong background in mental health counseling, addiction counseling, or related fields
- Familiarity with social work principles and practices, including client advocacy and case management
- Experience using EHR systems for documentation and record-keeping
- Knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques to facilitate client engagement and behavioral change
- Demonstrated ability to mentor individuals through challenging circumstances with patience and empathy
- Prior experience working with diverse populations in fast-paced environments is highly desirable
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
