Hour House is seeking to fill a Women's Extended Care/Outpatient (SUD) Counselor position provide individual, group, and family counseling to individuals with Substance Use Disorder in Outpatient Office in Charleston, IL.

Master's degree in counseling, social work or psychology preferred. Consideration will be given to applicants with a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 3 years of continuous sobriety, and a year of counseling service experience.

Interest in long term recovery issues such as relationship building, recovery from trauma, and sustained recovery, a plus. This position will require working one to two evenings a week and one weekend day.

The counselor will work as a member of a team with other clinicians and have ample opportunity for consultation and supervision. Documentation is accomplished by electronic medical record.

Compensation is good and benefits are excellent with generous paid days off. There is good opportunity for advancement to clinical management positions.
