Position Summary
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will oversee the clinical delivery of ABA services for children in home and community-based settings. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and supervising Behavior Technicians/RBTs while working closely with families to ensure effective implementation of services in the home.
The ideal candidate is a Master’s-level clinician who is passionate about family-centered care and comfortable working in a field-based environment across Lake County.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments in the home setting
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized ABA treatment plans
- Provide in-home supervision and training to RBTs and Behavior Technicians
- Analyze clinical data and adjust treatment plans to support client progress
- Deliver parent/caregiver training to promote skill generalization and carryover
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation (insurance and regulatory standards)
- Travel throughout Lake County, IL to provide in-home services and supervision
- Collaborate with families, schools, and other providers as appropriate
- Ensure services align with BCBA standards and Illinois Medicaid/commercial payer requirements
- Support program development and quality assurance initiatives
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field (required)
- Active BCBA certification in good standing
- Eligible to practice in the state of Illinois
- Minimum 1–2+ years of ABA experience (in-home or community-based preferred)
- Experience supervising RBTs or Behavior Technicians
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally within Lake County
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in in-home ABA settings
- Familiarity with Illinois Medicaid and commercial insurance documentation requirements
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
