Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Every Step Autism Services is looking for dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide in-clinic Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Join our team as we open our new clinic and help increase access to life-changing care!

Position:

- Humble, TX 77346
Shift: 40 hours per week (Full-Time)

- As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will be managed and supervised by an experienced BCBA as you implement meaningful, evidence-based care within our clinic setting. You will work directly with clients, helping them build new skills and reach key developmental milestones in a structured and supportive environment.

What You’ll Do:

- Provide in-person ABA therapy in a clinic setting

- Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans to help children thrive

- Support social skill development and appropriate peer interactions

- Collect and record data on client behaviors to track progress

- Collaborate closely with your BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans

- Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging environment for clients

- Follow Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines and ethical standards

What You Bring:

- RBT certification preferred, but not required at hire (must obtain during initial training period)

- Must complete the 40-hour RBT training within the first 7 days of employment

Employees will be provided with a training period prior to completing the competency assessment and RBT exam

- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week)

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Experience in ABA or working with children preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Must pass a background check, MVR, OIG, and Federal/State healthcare sanction checks

- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance

- TB test and proof required

Physical Requirements:

- Maintain awareness of client safety and surroundings at all times

- Ability to engage in sustained physical activity for extended periods

- Participate in floor play and hands-on therapy activities

- Activities may include walking, running, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
